PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board previously approved letters for Anderson Valley Community Services District on July 11, 2017 and March 25, 2014; letters for Long Valley Fire on December 2, 2014 and March 1, 2016; and letter for Anderson Valley Community Services District, Covelo Fire Protection District, and Elk Community Services District on March 1, 2022.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Anderson Valley Community Service District (AVCSD) (formerly known as Anderson Valley Ambulance Services (AVAS), Covelo Fire Protection District, and Elk Community Service District has requested that the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors and County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) (as required by Title 13, California Vehicle Code, section 12527(d)(2)) request exemption of certain "Ambulance Drivers" as outlined in Title 13, section 12527(d)(1) from the requirement of obtaining "emergency medical training" within one (1) year of being licensed to drive an ambulance.
