Approve first amendment (2nd Amendment Overall) to BOS Agreement No. 22-254 in the amount of $30,000 ($80,000 total) with Sonoma County for Licensed Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights & Measures Services, effective October 18, 2022 through a new end date of December 31, 2023 (previous end date: October 18, 2023); authorize the Chief Executive Officer or designee to sign any amendments that do not increase the maximum contracted amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County's Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights & Measures (Ag Commissioner) position is currently vacant. On October 18, 2022, the Board of Supervisors approved Agreement No. 22-254 to allow Sonoma County's Ag Commissioner to fulfill the local Ag Commissioner's duties on an interim basis. After the initial six-month term, the Agreement was amended by the Chief Executive Officer (as delegated by the Board) to extend the end date for an additional six months through October 18, 2023.
