Approve Agreement with California Mental Health Services Authority to participate in the Health Care Access and Information Workforce Education and Training Program in the amount of $0 to provide workforce education funds and training to mental health professionals in Mendocino County working in the public mental health care system; authorize Health Services Director to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Superior Regional Workforce Education and Training program is a joint venture between Superior Region Counties and the California Mental Health Services Authority to provide Workforce Education and Training Services. The programs supported by this collaboration provides programs for education, training, and retention of Mental Health Provider Staff. These programs include scholarships for education including peer certification, loan repayment plans, and retention programs. The opt in fee was previously paid under PA #22-134. This Agreement is for $0 as Mendocino County paid $67,120.72 on July 28, 2021 to opt in to this collaboration.
