The Board of Supervisors routinely adopts Proclamations recognizing special events and issues in Mendocino County.
Summary of Request:
In recognition of the County of Mendocino and North Coast Opportunities commitment to Community the Board is being asked to adopt a Proclamation recognizing May as Community Action Month and May 2024 as the 60th Anniversary of Community Action. Community Action changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.
