RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve Change Order number 01 to Agreement 24-211 with FRC, a California corporation for agriculture, Farm Advisor Front Entry Repair project, for additional work required to replace the column footings and additional plaster, in the amount of $20,926.19, for a new Agreement total of $217,926.19, and to extend the contract term to May 30, 2025; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On April 9, 2024, the Board of Supervisors authorized the establishment of the Capital Improvement project to repair the Entry Fa?ade for the Agriculture - Farm Advisor Building in the amount of $200,000. On December 17, 2025 the Board authorized the award of the repair contract to FRC, Inc. in the amount of $197,000 and increased the project budget to $250,000.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Last year damage to one of the columns supporting the entry at the Agriculture - Farm Advisor building exposed extensive rot damage, further investigation revealed rot damage to all four of the columns. Staff provided for temporary shoring to support the structure while repairs could be designed and completed.
