Ratify submission of grant application to The Center at Sierra Health Foundation with funding from the State of California's Department of Health Care Services for COVID-19 Mitigation Project funding; authorize the Director of Health Services to execute the resulting grant Agreement if awarded, up to $60,000, for the anticipated project period of August 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025; and authorize the Director of Health Services or designee to sign any amendments that do not increase the maximum amount.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The COVID-19 Mitigation Project (CMP) funding opportunity will prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and ensure the continuity of services to support individuals connected to the behavioral health system. The project will particularly focus on people engaged in mental health or substance use disorder care, and unhoused individuals.
