The Board regularly approves agreement with CDFA providing reimbursement for detection trapping activities.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
This agreement between CDFA and the County provides reimbursement to the County for exotic pest detection trapping, to prevent the introduction and spread of an injurious insect that would threaten the economic importance of the agriculture food supply grown in California. The retroactive term of this agreement is July 1, 2022, but it is related to a Federal Award to the State dated June 20, 2023.
