Summary of Request:
As nurses in the United States constitute the majority of the nation’s health care profession there is a high demand for nursing services to better serve the aging of the American population and along with the American Nurses Association (ANA) who work to advance the nursing profession and share the goal of “Nurses Make the Difference”, the Mendocino County Public Health has declared May 6-12, 2024, as National Nurses Week with appreciation for nurses’ unparallelled impact during the pandemic, and their contributions to health care.
