On May 1, 2019, the Sheriff's Office entered into an agreement with the Department of State Hospitals for the Sheriff's Office Jail to administer the delivery of Jail Based Competency Treatment Program services for inmates. BOS Agreement 19-133 states DSH compensates MCSO at the rate of $29,294.25 per patient inmate. The agreement is for two years and will not exceed $898,828. The agreement includes a $20,000 startup fee.
