RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve second amendment to BOS Agreement No. 21-167 Between Interwest Consulting Group and Mendocino County revising the Schedule of Rates referenced in Exhibit B for preparing the update of Title 20, Division I (Inland Zoning Ordinance) and Title 17 (Division of Land Regulation) of the Mendocino County Code; authorize the Planning and Building Services' Director to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On January 27, 2020, the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) issued a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) as part of the Local Government Planning Support Grants Program also referred to by HCD as the Local Early Action Planning Grants Programs or LEAP. The Board of Supervisors by way of Resolution No. 20-076 authorized the Disaster Recovery Finance Director to apply for a grant in the amount of $150,000 on behalf of Planning and Building Services to address the update of the Zoning Ordinance and UVAP implementation.
