PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
The Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 19-029, authorizing the County to apply for the 2018 Microenterprise Technical Assistance Grant; 18-CDBG-12929. The Board of Supervisors also adopted Resolution No. 20-164 approving the allocation of COVID CARES Act funding for 20-CDBG-CV1-00035.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
As part of more recent changes implemented at the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), in order for any jurisdiction to close out a grant, a public meeting must be held with the Board of Supervisors to allow for citizen participation and public comments on the County's Performance with CDBG funds. Grant Number 18-CDBG-12929 was awarded solely for the purpose of Microenterprise technical assistance which is intended to help "micro" businesses of 5 or less employees. West Business Development Center was procured as a subrecipient for this grant, see attached close out documentation.
