RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt resolution authorizing submittal of a grant application to California Department of Parks and Recreation Division of Boating and Waterways to continue implementation of the Quagga and Zebra Mussel Prevention Plan for Mill Creek Ponds; and authorizing the Director of Transportation to sign the grant application, grant Agreement, and any other necessary related documents (Talmage Area); and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 4, 2019, the Board of Supervisors (BOS) authorized funding to the Mendocino County Water Agency to develop a Quagga and Zebra Mussel Plan for the Mill Creek Ponds pursuant to the requirement from the Department of Fish and Wildlife. By Resolution Number (No.) 20-056 (May 19, 2020), the BOS authorized the Mendocino County Chief Executive Officer to submit a grant application in the amount of $54,696.40 to the California Department of Parks and Recreation Division of Boating and Waterways (DBW) to implement the Quagga and Zebra Mussel Prevention Plan for Mill Creek Ponds.
