Approve retroactive Agreement (first Amendment to Agreement No. PA-21-57) with Point & Pay, LLC in the amount of $25,000, for a new total of $40,757 for electronic payment processing services, effective January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028; authorize the Chief Executive Officer or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Summary of Request:
On September 22, 2020, the Mendocino County Purchasing Agent approved Agreement No. PA-21-57 with Point & Pay, LLC in the amount of $9,000 to provide electronic payment processing services to the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office (including Court Collections) and Animal Control for the convenience and benefit of both the County and public. The original agreement was for three years with the option of two one-year extensions. On January 1, 2024, the agreement for electronic payment processing services was extended for another year by mutual agreement, increasing the total amount by $3,050 for a new total of $12,050. On January 1, 2025, the agreement for electronic payment processing services was extended for another year by mutual agreement, increasing the total amount by $3,677 for a new total of $15,727.
