PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
By Resolution Number (No.) 12-079 (May 22, 2012), the Board of Supervisors (BOS) approved Department of Transportation (DOT) Agreement No. 110121 with Quincy Engineering, Inc., for the plans, specifications, and estimate bid package for the Rowes Creek Bridge Replacement on Sherwood Road. By Resolution No. 16-141 (December 6, 2016), the Board authorized the Director of Transportation to advertise for bids and award DOT Contract No. 160090 for construction of the Rowes Creek Bridge Replacement project. By Resolution No. 19-212 (July 16, 2019), the Board increased the Director of Transportation's change order authority.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Construction has been completed. DOT would like to file the Notice of Completion to commence the applicable lien periods, and pending no claims, release Contract Sureties after expiration of lien periods.
