Approve two-year Agreement with Eversole Mortuary in the Amount of $70,000 for Mortuary Services within the Central Operations sector of Mendocino County effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028; authorize the Sheriff to sign future amendments that do not affect the Agreement total; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 24, 2025, the Board approved a one-year Agreement with Eversole Mortuary for services during FY2025-26.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Sheriff's Office requests approval of a two-year Agreement for continued mortuary services provided by Eversole Mortuary for the Central Operations sector of Mendocino County in the amount of $35,000 per fiscal year. In addition, Social Services will enter into a separate Agreement with Eversole Mortuary for similar services in the amount of $60,000 per year, effective July 1, 2026. The combined aggregate total for these services in FY2026-27 is $95,000, thus requiring Board approval.
