Accept the Annual Emergency Medical Services (EMS) report from the Local Emergency Medical Services Agency (LEMSA), approve retroactive Agreement with Sonoma County in the amount $1,346,724 to provide local emergency medical services agency administration services, effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027; and authorize chair to sign same.

The County has been contracting with Sonoma County for LEMSA services since 1993.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
As outlined in California Health and Safety Code (Division 2.5, Chapter 4, Article 1, Sections 1797.200 - 1797.229), each county must designate a Local Emergency Medical Services Agency for administration of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Mendocino County has contracted with Sonoma County to provide these services since 1993. Sonoma County Department of Health Services, Coastal Valleys Emergency Medical Services Agency (CVEMSA) serves as the Mendocino County LEMSA.
