Approve Agreement with Exemplar Human Services, LLC in the amount of $168,000, to provide customized automated performance management reports and monitoring services for the Department of Social Services, Employment and Family Assistance Services, effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025; authorize the Social Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
This item requests approval of the proposed Agreement for customized automated performance reports and monitoring services with Exemplar Human Services, LLC (Exemplar). Mendocino County Department of Social Services (DSS), Employment and Family Assistance Services (EFAS) is responsible for administering the CalWORKs, Welfare-to-Work (WtW), CalFresh, and Medi-Cal programs for the County. In an effort to meet mandated performance standards, DSS must have a reliable system to monitor mandated program requirements, including timely processing of status reports, redetermination of eligibility, and various other caseload activities related to administration of the programs.
