Approve Agreement with Armorous Security and Investigations in the amount of $192,691.20, to provide security guard services at Mendocino County Department of Social Services office locations, effective October 4, 2023, through October 3, 2024; authorize the Social Services Director or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the annual maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On June 17, 2022, Mendocino County Department of Social Services, Special Investigations Unit (SIU), issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Security Guard Services. SIU selected Armorous Security and Investigations, the top ranked vendor, to contract with Social Services. On October 4, 2022, Social Services entered into the first Agreement with Armorous Security and Investigations as a result of the RFP process.
Pursuant to the proposed Agreement, Armorous Security and Investigations will provide three (3) uniformed and supervised Security Guards for forty (40) hours per week, for the period of October 4, 2023 through October 3, 2024, at each of the following Social Services sites:
* Yokayo Social Services Campus (727/737/747 South State Street, Ukiah)
