RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve the use of Measure B funds in the amount of $1,000 to Mendocino County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to fund County Staff time and materials to create graphics and marketing that will encourage the use of the Behavioral Health Regional Training Center by more organizations and agencies in the community that are not County Departments; and to provide updates on the use of the facility to the Measure B Committee at each of the meetings.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Mental Health Treatment Act Citizen's Oversight Committee voted on February 22, 2023 to recommend to the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors to approve the use of Measure B funds in the amount of $1,000 to Mendocino County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services to fund County Staff time and materials to create graphics and marketing for the Behavioral Health Regional Training Center. The goal of the marketing would be to encourage more places in the community to start using the facility for events and meetings; and to spread knowledge to others that the facility is available for use.
