Approve interim Amendment to BOS Agreement No. 22-084 with California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, in the amount of $0 for a total Agreement amount of $4,165,206, for fire and emergency dispatch services, effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2026; authorize the Deputy Chief Executive Officer or designee to sign any future amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign the same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
For approximately 30 years, the County of Mendocino has contracted with California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) for dispatch services for fire and emergency medical response. On April 5, 2022, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors entered into Agreement No. BOS-22-084, in the amount of $4,165,206 extending through June 30, 2026, through which Cal Fire provides fire and emergency medical services dispatch services to local Fire Services Agencies and Ambulance providers in Mendocino County who are signatory to the Operational Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of November 1994.
