Adopt resolution approving allocation of funding, an application for funding, and the execution of a Grant Agreement and any amendments thereto from the 2019-2020 funding year of the CDBG Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Resilient Planning and Public Services Program in the amount of $295,000 to request funding for the Fuel Abatement Ordinance and Enforcement Planning Project; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On November 9, 2021, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 21-156, approving an allocation in funding, an application for funding and the execution of a grant agreement to HCD for the Fire-Hazard Abatement Ordinance Implementation Planning ($107,936) and Fire-Hazard Abatement Ordinance Implementation Public Services ($187,064) projects.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The County has proposed and received approval from HCD to rescope two awarded grant projects, 17-MITPPS-21011 (Fire-Hazard Abatement Ordinance Implementation Planning) and 17-MITPPS-21012 (Fire-Hazard Abatement Ordinance Implementation Public Services). Rescoping the two projects into one planning project will allow for a feasible project that better suits the County's current needs.
