Summary of Request:
California Government Code Section 12950.1 requires employers to address and define abusive conduct in the workplace. Human Resources has developed an Abusive Conduct Policy to ensure compliance with these statutory requirements. The policy affirms the County’s commitment to maintaining a respectful, courteous, and professional work environment and establishes a complaint procedure consistent with the obligations outlined in Government Code Section 12950.1.
