RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve second amendment to Agreement 18-068 with Redwood Community Services, Inc. in the amount of $377,641.27, for a new total of $491,898.41, to provide Crisis Counseling services and Community Educational Meetings to those affected by the Wildfires in Mendocino County effective when Agreement becomes fully executed through January 31, 2019; authorize the Health and Human Services Agency Director or designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that do not increase the total maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provides assistance to states that suffer natural disasters. This assistance includes funding through the Federal Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program (CCP) that is to be used to provide community-based outreach and psycho-educational services.
