PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On June 23, 2024, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Master Position Allocation Table for the FY 2024-2025 Budget, Resolution Number 24-098.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Human Resources Department is charged, as part of the overall maintenance of the classification and compensation plan, to evaluate current classifications, create new classifications (including appropriate salary levels), reclassify positions, examine requests for salary grade adjustments, analyze allocations, and make recommendations for additions, modifications, and corrections.
On February 11, 2025, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Voluntary Separation Incentive Program (VSIP) and Designation List.
On behalf of the Social Services Department, Human Resources is requesting the Board to amend the designation list for the 2025 VSIP in accordance with Section 5 - Process, c.1. of the Fiscal year 2024-2025 Voluntary Separation Incentive Program.
The amendment to the Designation List includes 1.0 FTE for the Social Services budget unit 5010 for the classification of Administrative Services Manager II.
Recommendation is to approve the Amended VSIP Designation List of positions reflecting the requested addition of the 1.0 FTE in Social Services for the classification of Administrative Services Manager II which is attached to this item.
