PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On November 9, 2021, the Board of Supervisors approved the submission of the Local Jurisdiction Assistance Grant Program application and authorized the Cannabis Program Manager, or Department Head, to execute the grant agreement on behalf of the County of Mendocino, should the grant be awarded.
Pursuant to direction provided by the Board of Supervisors to Cannabis Department staff, cannabis related items must be brought to the General Government Committee for discussion and possible action, including providing recommendations to staff and a referral to the Board of Supervisors for approval of a cannabis related item.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST/REFERRAL:
Cannabis Department staff request input and recommendations from the Standing Committee regarding the Local Jurisdiction Assistance Grants Program (LJAGP) Direct Grant and Fee Waiver Program Manual, and the implementation of the LJAGP Program Manual.
