PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On July 26, 2022, the Board of Supervisors approved an Agreement with Planet Labs PBC. To Provide Satellite Imaging Services in the Amount of $351,240 Effective July 27, 2022, through July 26, 2023. On August 29, 2023 the Board of Supervisors retroactively approved an Amendment to BOS Agreement 22-194 to extend the term through September 30, 2023.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Under this contract Planet Labs PBC will continue to host and serve Sky Sat Archive imagery as well as ongoing Sky Sat Monitoring imagery collected throughout the contract period over Licensee's areas of interest (AOls). Imagery will be served via Web Map Tile Service (WMTS), a standard protocol for serving map tiles over the Internet that can Mendocino County served via Web Map Tile Service (WMTS), a standard protocol for serving map tiles over the Internet that can be consumed and visualized by Licensee's Esri software. This contract will be critical to ensuring fair and equitable maps for cannabis planning services.
