The Mendocino County Board of Supervisors routinely adopts Proclamations recognizing various events and awareness days throughout the County.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Child abuse, neglect, and exploitation are year-round concerns affecting communities across the nation. April is recognized nationally as Child Abuse Prevention Month to bring attention to these issues and highlight the importance of prevention services, community support, and safe, stable caregivers for children. This proclamation recognizes National Child Abuse Prevention Month and launches Mendocino County's efforts to raise awareness and encourage community involvement to ensure all children are safe, nurtured, and supported
