Summary of Request:
Approve Agreement (Second Amendment to Agreement No. BOS 22-249) with Public Risk Innovation Solutions and Management (PRISM) for the County’s continuing participation in the PRISMHealth program for employee health benefits, including the PRISMHealth Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
On March 26, 2026, the PRISMHealth Committee approved amendments to the PRISMHealth Program Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The Second Amendment updates the County’s agreement to incorporate the revised MOU.
The amendment reflects PRISMHealth’s transition to an independently administered, self-funded health program and clarifies existing governance, administrative practices, and operational procedures related to premium administration, financial accountability, program funding, eligibility administration, claims administration, coverage documents, and other general administrative updates
