Summary of Request:
October 7 is Ageism Awareness Day in California. This proclamation brings awareness to issues involved around ageism. In Mendocino County, there are an estimated 26,829 older adults over the age of sixty. This is a valuable resource to our communities, and we should be celebrating all that seniors bring to our County.
