Adopt the resolution authorizing the processing of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit, LCP_2025-0001, by the California Coastal Commission, for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to conduct salmonid habitat enhancement along the Ten Mile River; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On March 23, 2021, the Board of Supervisors authorized the processing of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit (CDP_2020-0038), by the California Coastal Commission, for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to implement Phase 1 of their Ten Mile River habitat enhancement project (Resolution No. 21-036). The currently proposed project would implement Phase 2.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Nature Conservancy requests the processing of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit to implement Phase 2 of their Ten Mile River Habitat Enhancement project. The project is intended to increase winter survival and rearing capacity for coho salmon. The project would involve excavating certain portions of the waterway, creating new wetlands, side channels, alcoves, and installing large wood structures to increase habitat complexity.
