SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
In July 2021 the county entered into a three-year contract with Canteen Services of Ukiah to maintain Avanti micro-markets in four county buildings, under the purchasing agent authority.
In August 2024 the county executed an amendment that extended the contract date through June 30, 2025.
The Executive Office is asking for approval of a retroactive agreement in the amount of $5,400 to maintain Avanti Micro-Markets in the four county buildings, effective July 01, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
The Executive Office is preparing to release Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide retail food services and/or micro-markets for the four locations. The intention would be to award contract(s) by July 1, 2026.
