SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Mendocino County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) is required to provide or arrange for specialty mental health services to eligible Medi-Cal beneficiaries, including certain mandated psychiatric services. As summarized in the attached report of claims, BHRS received invoices from various psychiatric hospitals, clinics, and physician offices for such services, totaling forty-six thousand twenty-seven dollars ($46,027). Until January 1, 2024, BHRS was contracted with Redwood Quality Management Company (RQMC), to work on behalf of the County as an Administrative Services Organization (ASO) and in that model all payments for such services were made on behalf of the County through RQMC.
