PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On November 1, 2022 the Board of Supervisors ordered that no election be held for the November 14, 2022 Safety Member election pursuant to Government Code Section 31523.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Richard Shoemaker, incumbent candidate for the Retired Member, 8th Seat, and Lenord Swope, candidate for the Alternate Retired Member, 10th Seat are unopposed for the November 13, 2023 Board of Retirement Election. Therefore, pursuant to Government Code Section 31523, the Board of Supervisors shall order that no election be held and shall cast a unanimous ballot in favor of such candidate/s.
