SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On July 23, 2019, Mendocino County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) submitted a Homelessness Presentation to the Board of Supervisors (BOS) focusing on current initiatives and projects designed to reduce homelessness in Mendocino County. As part of the presentation, HHSA requested BOS approval of a Revenue Agreement in the amount of $618,404 with Partnership HealthPlan of California (PHC) through the Local Innovation Grants on Housing to secure permanent supportive housing in Ukiah. The Revenue Agreement designated $580,900 to be subcontracted to Rural Communities Housing Development Corporation (RCHDC) for development of Orr Creek Commons. The proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with RCHDC outlines RCHDC's expectations for receipt of grant funds and is necessary as a deliverable to receive funds under the PHC grant.
