Adopt Resolution ratifying the submittal of the Mendocino County Air Quality Management District's application for Fiscal Year 2025/2026 Subvention funds from the California Air Resources Board in the amount of $83,400 and authorize the Air Pollution Control Officer to take all other steps necessary to receive said funds; and authorize Chair to sign same.

The Mendocino County Air Quality Management District Board has previously identified Subvention Funds in its budget.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) provides Subvention Funds to local air pollution control districts to support their air quality initiatives. Districts must apply to CARB in October of each year for Subvention Funds. There are two types of Subvention Funds, one allocated based on district population, and a second that districts may request funding for.
The application consists of two (2) parts: (1) the Fiscal Year 2025-26 Application for Subvention funds; and (2) the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Year-End Financial Reporting indicating the District's appropriations (Not including AB 923 Motor Vehicle Fund Revenue) exceeded the required match for that year's subvention grant as required by state law.
