SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Santiago Simental dba Alternative to Violence, provides domestic violence treatment services to Family and Children's Services clients as part of their voluntary or court-ordered case plans, to support children safely remaining home with a parent, or the reunification of children in foster care with a parent. Alternative to Violence is the only court approved anger management organization in Mendocino County.

Alternative to Violence classes address issues related to domestic violence, providing clients with the basic skills to effectively deal with anger and manage potentially explosive situations nonviolently. The program is taught in English and Spani...
