RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Approve retroactive Agreement with Lexipol LLC in the amount of $143,864.54 to pay annual subscription fees for law enforcement policy updates for the Corrections Division of the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office for the term of November 1, 2023 through October 31, 2024, with the Agreement automatically extended on its same terms and conditions for 99 additional one year periods; approve appropriation increase of funds in Budget 2511 in the amount of $80,864.54; authorize the Sheriff to sign future amendments that do not affect the total amount of the Agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Lexipol LLC provides the Sheriff's Office with online access to policy manual services and other important consultation as to statewide-approved policing practices, procedures, and policies. Lexipol LLC provides these services to over hundreds of law enforcement agencies in California, and many more throughout the nation.
