Approve first amendment to BOS Agreement 23-015 with Elior, Inc. dba Summit Food Service, LLC, increasing the total Agreement amount by $1,295,082 to provide ongoing kitchen and laundry services for inmates at the Mendocino County Jail, and extend the Agreement from January 30, 2026, to January 30, 2027; authorize the Sheriff to sign any future amendments that do not affect the maximum Agreement total; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On January 24, 2023, the Board approved a three-year Agreement with Elior, Inc. dba Summit Food Service, LLC, in the amount of $2,616,000 with an initial term of February 1, 2023, through January 30, 2026.
SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On August 29, 2022, the Sheriff's Office released Request for Proposal (RFP) SO-060-22 for Jail Kitchen and Laundry Services. As a result, Elior Inc. dba Summit Food Service, LLC, was awarded a three-year agreement with the option to extend it for two additional one-year periods. This Amendment will extend the Agreement for one year, through January 30, 2027, and will increase the total Agreement amount by $1,295,082 for a new Agreement total of $3,911,082.
