Adopt Proclamation honoring the 105^th Anniversary of the 19^th Amendment to the United States Constitution; and authorize Chair to sign same.

Previous Board/Board Committee Actions:

In 2020 and 2021, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors recognized the anniversary of women’s right to vote.                       

Summary of Request: 

In August 1920, the 19^th Amendment to the United States Constitution was passed, granting women the right to vote.

On August 24^th, the public is invited to the Kelley House lawn in Mendocino to participate in a celebration hosted by the Mendocino Women’s Political Coalition and the League of Women Voters of Mendocino County in recognition of Women’s Equality Day and the 105^th Anniversary of the 19^th Amendment.
