On November 5, 2024, the BOS approved a standard services agreement (BOS 24-193) with the Friends of the Round Valley Public Library in the amount of $25,000 for custodial services at Round Valley Branch Library in Covelo and approved the finding that the contracted site is remote.
Summary of Request:
Following Policy 1, the Library issued an RFP (025-26) for custodial services for the Round Valley Branch Library on June 22, 2026. Due to the unsuccessful RFP process and the need to secure a custodial vendor before the current contract expired, the Library began directly soliciting qualified vendors. Most contacted vendors either did not respond or indicated they could not provide service in Covelo. The Friends of the Round Valley Library was the only vendor who responded and was willing to accept the contract terms.
