RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt Resolution authorizing the processing of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit, LCP_2025-0005, by the California Coastal Commission, for Caltrans to conduct a Geotechnical Investigation in support of the Albion River Bridge Project along State Route 1 in Mendocino County; and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On September 13, 2016, the Board adopted resolution number 16-115, which authorized the processing of a consolidated Coastal Development Permit by the California Coastal Commission for Caltrans to conduct geotechnical drilling at the Albion River Bridge.

On February 8, 2022, the Board adopted resolution number 22-036, which authorized the processing of a consolidated Coastal Development Permit by the California Coastal Commission for Caltrans to inspect, repair, and upgrade various undercarriage sections to the Albion River Bridge.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) requests the processing of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit to conduct a geotechnical investigation in support of the Albion River Bridge Project.
