Approve Retroactive California Home visiting Program (CHVP) Evidence-Based Home Visiting (EBHV) and Innovation (INNV) allocations from California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health Division, in the amount of $688,776.19, effective July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; authorize the Health Services Director or designee to accept the allocation and sign any future Amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The CDPH CHVP receives and allocates State General Funds for local assistance funding for early childhood home visiting across the State. CHVP services are a primary intervention strategy for families from pregnancy through kindergarten entry, with a focus on innovation practices to meet local needs. Mendocino County Public Health (PH) has been receiving CHVP funds since 2020 and utilizes them to provide innovative outreach and home visiting services to eligible participants through the Healthy Families Mendocino County Home Visiting Program, which has been implemented throughout Mendocino County since 2017.
