Approve retroactive Agreement with Data Strategy Consulting, LLC. in the amount of $126,000 per year for 2 years for a total amount of $252,000, to provide epidemiology services, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028; authorize the Health Services Director or designee to sign amendments that do not increase the maximum amount; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Data Strategy Consulting LLC. (DSC) will work in coordination with Public Health to provide epidemiological briefing on state, region, and county-wide trends and projections to inform operations and planning. To facilitate the delivery of services, data will be analyzed through California Reportable Disease Information Exchange (CalREDIE) and Snowflake (vaccine data), as well as other appropriate platforms, as needed. In addition, DSC will be available for consultation by phone or via internet meeting software, to provide feedback and advice to Mendocino County staff in public health epidemiology.
This agreement is being processed retroactively due to the additional time to it took negotiating the changes to the Statement of Work and updated rates for the agreement.
