Summary of Request:
In coordination with the Mendocino Women’s Political Coalition and the American Association of University Women Supervisor Mulheren requests that the Board of Supervisors approve the following Proclamation.
The 2024 Women's History Month theme established by ’The National Womens History Alliance <https://nationalwomenshistoryalliance.org/2024-whm-theme/>is titled: "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion." The theme recognizes women throughout the country who understand that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions.
