Approve Agreement with RingCentral, Inc., for the purchase of cloud-based communications platform and services, RingEX and RingCX, for the IT telecom replacement project, in the amount of $830,383.40 for the period of July 21, 2026, through July 21, 2031; authorize the Chief Executive Officer or their designee to sign any future amendments to the Agreement that does not increase the maximum amount of the Agreement; and authorize Chair to sign same.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
This request authorizes an Agreement with RingCentral, Inc. for a cloud-based communication platform, to be deployed and implemented by Maverick Networks, Inc. This modern solution will replace the County's existing telephone system, significantly improving system resiliency, ensuring business continuity, and fully supporting hybrid and remote work environments.
The Agreement establishes the total deployment costs and ongoing support services required to successfully transition County departments to the new communications platform.
