6/5/2024 Board of Supervisors approval of Master Tax Sharing Agreement

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
On June 5, 2024, the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution approving a Master Tax Sharing Agreement between the County of Mendocino, the City of Fort Bragg, the City of Point Arena, the City of Ukiah, and the City of Willits. The Master Tax Sharing Agreement was brought forward to the BOS by Ad Hoc members of Supervisor Mulheren and Gjerde.

On April 16, 2025, the Ukiah City Council approved direction to Staff to prepare applications for reorganization and sphere of influence update, to prezone those areas subject to the reorganization and make relevant amendments to the City of Ukiah 2040 General Plan, and to conduct any required analyses, including any analyses required by CEQA, in support of the applications, prezoning, and General Plan Amendment, and to bring these documents to the City Council for consideration.
