Approve Amendment to BOS Agreement 20-169, between Land Logistics and Mendocino County, to increase the amount by $322,500.00 (for a new total not to exceed $537,500.00) and extend the termination date of the agreement to June 30, 2023 to continue to Provide Disaster Recovery (DR) Assistance, Special Planning Project Management and Interim Director Services for Planning and Building Services (PBS); and authorize Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
On December 8, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved Agreement No. BOS 20-169.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
Since the approval of Agreement No. BOS 20-169, both PBS and the Disaster Recovery team, now called Prevention, Recovery, Resilience and Mitigation (PRRM), have required the continued assistance of Land Logistics staff. Overall, both departments are understaffed and continued use of contractors is required to complete necessary projects, including recovery from the recent Hopkins Fire. Other projects and services that will be impacted without the approval of this amendment include the update to the Inland Zoning Code, Inclusionary Housing Ordinance, and any potential establishment of a "long range" planning division and advancements in the...
