SUMMARY OF REQUEST:
The Rural and Small Department Violent Crime Reduction Program awards grants on a competitive basis to small law enforcement agencies and prosecutors' offices in rural locations to address the underlying crimes contributing to identified violent crime problems occurring in their jurisdictions. The anticipated maximum dollar amount of the award is $300,000. The period of performance begins on October 1, 2023 and has a duration of 36 months.
