RECOMMENDED ACTION/MOTION:

Adopt an ordinance amending Section 15.04.030 of the Mendocino County Code - Speed Zoning on County Roads, adding paragraph(s) 15.04.030 (B) (41), establishing a 25 miles per hour (MPH) speed limit on Little River Airport Road (CR 404), from milepost 5.00 to milepost 5.92 and deleting from paragraph(s) 15.04.030 (D) (31), from milepost 3.45 to the end of the road at its intersection with Comptche Ukiah Road (CR 223) and adding paragraph(s) 15.04.030 (E) (18 & 19), establishing a 40 miles per hour (MPH) speed limit on Little River Airport Road (CR 404), from milepost 1.85 to milepost 5.00 and on Albion Ridge Road (CR 402), from milepost 1.00 to milepost 4.00 intersection with Middle Ridge Road (Little River - Albion Area); and authorize the Chair to sign same.

PREVIOUS BOARD/BOARD COMMITTEE ACTIONS:
During the Board of Supervisors meeting of September 24, 2024, Item 3c - direction was given to Department of Transportation (DOT) Staff to perform speed surveys for Albion Ridge Road and Little River Airport Road(s) at a time and manner most efficient for the department.
