Summary of Request:
Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc. provides secure residential treatment programs and offers a broad range of services to adults requiring a structured environment due to mental health challenges. Levels of care include groups, trainings, and programs to promote the recovery of clients for independent living in the community. The County’s goal is to transfer clients to a less restrictive residential setting as soon as they are medically able. Basic daily rates vary depending on the level of care required for the clients. This range has the potential to be $21-$400 for this agreement, with BHRS paying a range of $21-$168 for clients currently using the services.
The amendment will increase the original amount of $67,160 available to the Contractor for services during FY 2016-17 by $225,000 for a new total of $292,160. This is a fee for service contract with no minimum beds reserved and the increase will allow the Contractor to provide services for more clients as needed.
Alternative Action/Motion:
Return to staff for alternate handling.
